Which MUD client do you have? ddemud, zmud, or something else?

Erm, which green guy?

I'm still using AvPlay 5, as recommended by Mr Gloom, ages ago.

I expect it's well out-of-date by now, but it works.

Do you think there would be any mileage in having a Mud client section to this forum so we can point out all the clients out there and maybe have someone review them / give setup files instructions for them - a bit like :

What do you think?

yes yes, verrry good idea, methinks
I have ddemud and the one problem i find with it is that if you use the automap u can't label the rooms so if u want 2 go sumwhere u just hav a big picture of all the rooms you've ever been in which is an ickle bit of a pain cause u dont know which 1s which
I remember Lyra saying u could label the rooms on hers but i never managed to find out which 1 she had, so hopefully she may return to Avatar in the near future and tell me. please?? :)

I use zMud and that doesn't automatically add the location names, I had to add them myself.

It's not that zmud can't do it, cos it can, it's just a matter of getting it to work properly with Avatar, and seeing as we allow text to be sent to you when u're typing at the prompt, all these mappers get very confused. :D
