Ho hum. Looks like BT have managed to FUBAR one of their database servers.

Normally it would have been ok but we've just had a power cut that disconnected me from the net - and this then prevents me from being able to log back on again.

I'll reply to this once the connectivity has been restored.

I'm trying to decode the logs to see if it was a guest that caused this or just something that happened 'naturally'. It has to be "naturally", defenitely "naturally", following my check of who was the last to log on before the failure! There's NO doubt about it, "naturally" is the ONLY answer! Heh,...
