i cant seem to get back on avatar after being chucked off heyylp! although it may be a problem at my end since i cant get on any other MUDs. But the rest of the internet works fine. hmmmmmm :?

Are you able to get on now Palia?

A good way to see if its You or Avatar is to go to the developers page.

Up in the left hand corner there is an I con that tells you the status of the server:

Avatar is currently
Image

Although this is from ICQ its usually correct!

If you want to know the ICQ number for the server its 129225954.

Yep i can get on now thanx.

'Cept I lost faith in the "online" thing since 1 day it said offline and it was okay and the next day it said it was online and i couldn't get on. And neither could anyone else cause i checked the limbo departures board. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get over it

The online thing oly says that ICQ can see the server - it doesn't say that the gateway server is actually working.

If ICQ is online and you cannot connect, chances are there is a problem with the gateway.

If you connect but only get as far as the 'Connecting..' bit that usually means the Avatar server has gone.

In either case, if you e-mail me or PM me, I will try to resolve the problem once I see itl.
